Jeep Tour FLORESTA DA TIJUCA & Bico do Papagaio

This is a super recommended experience for the more adventurous ones and looking for an adventure out of the cliches!
On this tour we will do a hike in the middle of the Tijuca's Forest to one of the most spectacular, but little-known, views of the wonderful city: The Bico do Papagaio!
The first stop of our tour will be at the Mirante das Canoas, where we will take some pictures and enjoy an incredible view. We will continue on to Tijuca National Park, where we will bathe in the magnificent Taunay Waterfall and do the trail.
The trail to Bico do Papagaio is of moderate intensity lasting around 1 hour and has some very steep sections, in which we will have to use our hands and hold on to the roots and branches to help us. This factor, added to the stunning view, makes this trail one of our favorites!

Recommendations

Clothing: Wear light walking clothes and closed shoes. Caps and hats are a good choice on sunny days. If you are taking a bath in the waterfall, be sure to bring a change of clothes and a towel. Take a light coat in your backpack, especially in the winter, as the temperatures at the top of Pedra Bonita tend to be lower.

Food: Take a light snack (sandwich, biscuit, fruit) and 1 liter of water per person. Don't forget to take an extra plastic bag to the trash.

Other items: Repellent, sunscreen and sunglasses.
